Terminal

The Futures Terminal is the main working area of the Futures section in Firedrake.

Use this section when you want to scan futures contracts, open a position with prepared bot settings, monitor active bot-managed deals, review live positions, and look back at recently closed trades without moving between multiple separate pages.

Page layout

The Terminal combines two parts in one workspace:

  1. TradingView Chart
  2. Terminal tabs

Below the chart, the page is organized into four tabs:

  • Futures Contracts
  • Futures Bots
  • Open Positions
  • Position History

The Terminal is the central operating screen of the Futures module.

What you can do in the Terminal

The Terminal is designed to support the full working flow around a futures trade:

  • search and filter contracts;
  • review the selected instrument on the chart;
  • open a position using saved Bot Settings;
  • manage an already running bot-managed deal;
  • monitor open positions;
  • review recently closed deals;
  • generate position or deal cards;
  • visualize live orders, order history, and price limits on the chart.

Terminal sections

For detailed guidance, use the dedicated articles for each part of the Terminal:

  • Terminal Screener — how to filter contracts, save presets, sort the list, and open a position from the screener.
  • Active Bots — how to manage active bot-controlled deals, edit TP/SL/TSL settings, and work with safety orders.
  • Open Positions — how to monitor live positions and close them from the terminal.
  • Position History — how to review recently closed deals inside the terminal.
  • Card Generation — how to create shareable cards for open positions and closed deals.
  • TradingView Chart — how the chart works together with the terminal and what can be visualized on it.

Summary

Use the Futures Terminal when you want one section that combines:

  • contract screening;
  • chart-based review;
  • trade entry;
  • active deal management;
  • live position monitoring;
  • recent deal history;
  • card generation;
  • chart overlays for orders and limits.

For most users, this is the main operational screen of the Futures module.
