Registration on the platform

To start using the Firedrake platform, you need to register an account. This guide covers registration, confirming your email, logging in, two-factor authentication, and password recovery.

Registration Process

1. Navigate to the Registration Page.
2. Enter your valid email address.

   Note: Access to the system requires Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). It is impossible to register with a non-existent email address, as you will need to receive verification codes.

3. Create a strong password.
4. (Optional) Enter a referral code if you have one.
5. Read and accept the User Agreement and Privacy Policy.
6. Click the "Register" button.

Confirming Your Email

Registration finishes by entering a six-digit code.

1. Immediately after you click "Register", the form asks for a verification code and we send that code to your email address.
2. Enter the code and click "Confirm".
3. Your account is now active and the platform takes you to the login screen.

If the code does not arrive

Click "Resend code" below the input field and we will send a new one. Check your spam folder as well — codes are sent from donotreply@mail.firedrake.app, and adding that address to your contacts keeps future codes out of spam.

Note: A code is valid for a limited time. If you leave the page before entering it, simply register again with the same email address — you will be returned to the code step.

Logging In

The platform uses Two-Factor Authentication for every login: your password is the first factor, and a code is the second.

1. Go to the Login Page or open www.firedrake.app/app/ directly.
2. Enter your email and password, then click "Sign in".
3. Confirm the second factor:
   • Email code (default) — we send a six-digit code to your email. If you do not receive it, click "Resend code"; the link becomes available 60 seconds after the previous send.
   • Authenticator app — if you have set one up, enter the current six-digit code from the app instead. No email is sent in this case.
4. Once the code is accepted, you are signed in.

Telegram Integration

After registering, you have the option to link your Telegram account. Once linked, email verification codes are also sent to Telegram, providing a faster alternative for receiving them.

Two-Factor Authentication

2FA is mandatory and cannot be turned off. What you can choose is the second factor.

Both are managed in Settings (Gear icon) → Security:

Factor	Status	What it means
Email (default)	Always on	A code is emailed to you at every login. Cannot be disabled.
Authenticator app	Optional	Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password or any compatible app. When enabled, it replaces the email code at login.

Setting Up an Authenticator App

1. Open Settings (Gear icon) → Security and switch on "Authenticator app".
2. Scan the QR code shown on screen with your authenticator app, or enter the key manually if you cannot scan.
3. Enter the six-digit code from the app to confirm the link.
4. Save your recovery codes. They are shown once, immediately after setup.

Why this is more secure: an email code protects you only as long as your mailbox is safe. An authenticator app generates codes on your device, so an attacker who has your password and your email still cannot sign in.

Recovery Codes

Recovery codes are one-time codes that let you sign in when you no longer have your authenticator app — a lost, reset, or replaced phone.

• Store them somewhere other than the phone that holds the authenticator app.
• Each code works once.
• To issue a new set, use "Regenerate recovery codes" in the same Security section. The previous set stops working immediately.

If You Lose Your Authenticator App

1. On the two-factor screen, click "Lost your authenticator? Use a recovery code".
2. Enter your password and one of your recovery codes.
3. The authenticator is removed from the account and you sign in with an email code as usual.
4. Set up an authenticator app again afterwards, and save the new recovery codes.

Turning Off the Authenticator App

Switch "Authenticator app" off in the Security section. Because removing a second factor is a sensitive operation, it must be confirmed with your password and a current code from the app. Email codes remain in place as your second factor.

Account Recovery

If you have forgotten your password, you can restore access using a code sent to your email.

1. On the sign-in screen, click "Forgot your password?" — or open www.firedrake.app/forgot-password directly, which takes you straight to the same form.
2. Enter the email address associated with your account and click "Send reset code".
3. Check your email for a six-digit code.
4. Enter the code together with your new password and confirm it.
5. You can now sign in with the new password.

Note: If the code does not arrive, use "Didn't get it? Resend code" on the same screen. The password reset does not affect your API keys, bots, or open trades.
