Quick Reference

All indicator values in one place. This page is written to be easy to copy into a spreadsheet or to give to an AI assistant together with a description of your trading idea — for example: "Using the Firedrake indicator reference below, suggest strategy conditions for buying dips in liquid coins during an uptrend."

Per-timeframe indicators are available on 1m, 5m, 15m, 30m, 1h, 4h, 1d, 1w (a 1w candle opens on Monday 00:00 UTC).

Width classes (MRC width, cloud width)

Ratio = current width ÷ median width of the last 200 closed candles (same contract, same timeframe).

CodeClassRatio
0Very narrow< 0.6
1Narrow0.6 – 0.8
2Normal0.8 – 1.25
3Wide1.25 – 1.6
4Very wide1.6 – 2.5
5Anomalously wide≥ 2.5

Cloud phase

Thickness = current cloud thickness relative to the normal thickness of a cloud in a steady trend (1.0 = normal).

CodePhaseThicknessMeaning
0Thin< 0.5young or fading trend; colour changes most often
1Narrowing0.5 – 0.9, getting thinner over the last 3 candlestrend losing strength
2Intermediate0.5 – 0.9, stable—
3Widening0.5 – 0.9, getting thicker over the last 3 candlestrend gaining strength
4Established0.9 – 1.15steady, well-formed trend
5Expanded> 1.15price has slowed down while the cloud stays wide

Observed behaviour (historical Firedrake data, all timeframes)

SituationCloud colour changed within the next 20 candles
Phase Thin≈ 26–30%
Phase Established≈ 5–10%
Price on the trend side of the cloud (blue + above, red + below)≈ 3–9%
Price inside the cloud≈ 8–14%
Price on the opposite side (blue + below, red + above)≈ 40–45%

These are historical frequencies, not forecasts.

Strategy matching rules

  • All blocks must match at the same time (AND); several values selected in one field — any of them (OR).
  • An empty field is not checked. RSI 0–100 and Clouds Disabled are not checked.
  • A contract with a missing value does not match a field that has values selected. This includes the empty CoinMarketCap metrics (24h volume level, turnover level, risk level) — see when they are empty.
  • Divergence in strategies uses only the confirmed divergence; the forming divergence and its age are not checked.
  • Conditions are checked every few seconds; the schedule, max active bots, max cycles, trading pairs, listing range and price limits are applied on top.
  • When more contracts match than can be opened, the most active (by volatility rank) are taken first; with the same volatility rank — the larger 24h volume first, then by pair name.

Example: a strategy written as data

Strategy: "Dip in uptrend" side: LONG
Clouds: 1h = Blue
Price Zone (MRC): 15m = Below Lowband | Weak Oversold | Normal Oversold (source: Native)
RSI: 15m = 0..40
Price Direction: 5m = Up
Volume Weight: 100M-200M .. above 1B
Risk Score: Low | Medium
Funding: all except High (+), Extra High (+)
Cloud phase: 1h = Established | Widening
MRC width: 15m = Very narrow .. Wide (without Very wide and Anomalously wide)
